The engineers got their Airborne status taken away, so did the 18th. I'm disappointed. Thats what Fort Bragg is suppose to be. Luckily, I'm not over there but I'm an engineer.

I stand corrected. I was just asking. The airbornes are one of the best in the world.
hitman1421 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Haha I was in the 37th for 5 years Jan. 03-March 07. We jumped more then anyone at Bragg by far. I racked up 38 jumps inbetween 2 deployments and many schools like sapper school. Haha Sgt. Pierce was really trying hard to sound smart. Havent seen him since Afghanistan when he took a round in the neck
hitman1421 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
@jamesdragonforce We still jump all the time. The 101st airborne no longer jumps, they are now air assualt.
hitman1421 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Yeah we usually just sleep or sit and reflect on everything. It sucks when the pilots do map of the earth and everyone starts throwing up from air sickness.
hitman1421 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Well the 101 is air assault now. They dont jump anymore. There are many more Airborne divisions then that also. Those are just the 2 original. The ones they showed are the 37th engineer battalion. I was in that unit for 5 years. We jumped more then any other unit at Fort. Bragg. I got 38 jumps in about 18 months of jumping between deployments.

Sorry if I sound ridiculous, but someone told me that the Airborne doesn't currently train with jumping out of airplanes.

Gooseroos2: You're very immature. Please show some respect.
marinello6: You're wrong for wasting your time with this child. Be the example. |
